Description:
Fabdecon agitator is suitable for thorough mixing. The agitator
is provided with an impeller consisting of blades of enough area
to give adequate agitation in the tank of given dimensions. The
impeller is mounted on an overhung shaft. The shaft is fabricated
out of solid shaft and is driven by an electric motor, through a
speed reducing gear box.

Description:
Fabdecon dual-level
kneader is an extension of the popular Fabdecon double arm mixer-cum-kneader. Dual-level
kneader has 50 per cent more effective mixing and heat transfer area than the conventional
double arm kneaders. This provides a thorough mix in a shorter cycle.
Efficient mixing action is assured by the shape of the bowl, which retains material
within the mixing zone, and by accurately machining both the overlapping sigma arms
to prevent the accumulation of unmixed materials.
The jacket area also being enhanced, the equipment can be used for economic heat transfer
applications.
One arm being lower than the second arm, one discharge door is adequate. This door can be
either circular or rectangular.
Dual-level kneader is ruggedly constructed and can be supplied in all materials of construction
i.e. mild steel, stainless steel, etc.
Dual-level kneaders find application in the manufacture of detergent cake, carbon paste,
poly vinyl alcohol, carboxy methyl cellulose and other industries where standard double
arm mixer-cum-kneader can be used.

Description:
Fabdecon concentric shaft mixer (CSM)
is an extension of the Fabdecon high speed dispersers (HSD). Unlike the HSD,
the CSM has two mixing elements –
- one a high-speed saw tooth cutter
- the other a slow-speed anchor.
This combination overcomes the drawbacks of the HSD, which has only a high-speed saw tooth cutter.
Advantages of the CSM are given below: The are of influence of a saw tooth cutter is limited.
Accordingly large sized equipment demands a large diameter cutter to effect proper circulation,
which, in turn, will demand high horse power.
In the CSM, the saw tooth cutter does the dispersion by providing the necessary sheer and the
slow-speed anchor provides the circulation and uniform mass flow to guarantee equal saw tooth
blade exposure for the entire batch. Hence, a small diameter saw tooth cutter will suffice.
Most dispersers require variable speed drives and ACVS/MCVS system of cone pulleys provides
an economical arrangement. However, this system is reliable only up to 30 HP presently. Hence,
the CSM is the only choice in bigger equipment handling high viscosity material.
The CSM can handle material having viscosity as high as 3,00,000 centipoise with the present
drive system available in the country.
Both the mixing elements have independent drives and hence each element can be used independently
or together depending upon the physical characteristics of the material being processed and is
specially economical when the viscosity of the product changes during the process.
The CSM can be provided in three basic designs: laboratory models for pilot runs, hydraulic
hoist mounted models for medium sized applications and those involving change cans and tank mounted
models are for large sized equipment with dedicated vessel.

Description:
Roto Shaft Mixer consist of Stator and Rotor arrangement, wherein the stator has three
large external paddle blades which restrains its rotation to about 1/10th of Rotor Speed
For example: - The stator speed will be 200 RPM at rotor speed of 2000 RPM.
The rotor draws the mix into the stator where the high shear action between the rotor
blades and slowly revolving the stator subject the material to effective mixing, milling
and grinding action prior to be expelled with high velocity through outlets in stator rin.
When passing through these outlets, particles, solids etc. are exposed to intense cutting
and disintegrating action for further rotation of particles sizes. All the contents of the
mixing will pass through mixing head more greater number of times during the process, which
will result in homogeneous product within minutes.
The function of large external paddles is:
- The entire batch is rapidly involved in mixing process.
- Frictional heat is distributed to the entire batch to eliminate high temperature in
the vicinity in the mixing head
- Lumps of powder sticking to the stator will be washed off and will get involved in the
mixing process.
- Vibration will not occur even when hard solids have to be broken down
(since the stator will observe equalize shocks)
